Polypropylene fiber
Polypropylene fiber Polypropylene anti-crack and anti-seepage short fiber is a high-strength bundled monofilament organic fiber made of fiber-grade polypropylene as raw material and processed by special technology. It has inherent strong acid and alkali resistance, weak thermal conductivity, and very stable chemical properties. Adding it to mortar or concrete can effectively control the microcracks caused by temperature changes and other factors in the initial plastic shrinkage stage of mortar and concrete, prevent and inhibit the formation and development of cracks, and greatly improve the concrete's crack resistance and anti-seepage performance, impact resistance and earthquake resistance. It can be widely used in underground engineering waterproofing, industrial and civil construction engineering roofs, walls, floors, pools, basements, as well as roads and bridges. It is a new ideal material for mortar and concrete engineering to resist cracking, seepage, and wear. Main function As a secondary reinforcement material for concrete, high polypropylene fiber can also greatly improve its crack resistance, anti-seepage, impact resistance, earthquake resistance, frost resistance, impact resistance, burst resistance, anti-aging performance and workability, pumpability, and water retention. ● Prevent concrete cracks ● Improve the anti-penetration performance of concrete ● Improve the freeze-thaw resistance of concrete ● Improve the impact resistance, flexural resistance, fatigue resistance and seismic resistance of concrete ● Improve the durability and anti-aging of concrete ● Improve the fire resistance of concrete Application areas ● Concrete rigid self-waterproof structure: basement floor, side wall, top plate, cast-in-place roof slab, reservoir, etc. Projects with high requirements for crack resistance, impact resistance and wear resistance, water conservancy projects, subways, airport runways, port terminals, overpass viaduct decks, bridge piers, super-long structures, etc. ● Cement mortar: interior (exterior) wall painting, aerated concrete plastering, interior decoration putty and thermal insulation mortar. ● Explosion-proof and fire-resistant projects: civil air defense military projects, oil platforms, chimneys, refractory materials, etc. ● Shotcrete: tunnel, culvert lining, thin-walled structure, slope reinforcement, etc. Instructions for use ● Recommended dosage: The recommended dosage of ordinary plastering mortar is: 0.9~1.2kg The recommended dosage of thermal insulation mortar per ton is: 1~3kg The recommended dosage of concrete is: 0.6~1.8kg (for reference) ● Construction process and steps ①According to the volume of concrete mixed each time, accurately measure the weight of fiber added each time according to the mix ratio requirements (or recommended dosage). ②After the sand and gravel are prepared, add the fiber. It is recommended to use a forced mixer. Add the aggregate together with the fiber to the mixer, but be sure to ensure that the fiber is added between the aggregates, dry mix for about 30 seconds, and wet mix for about 30 seconds after adding water to fully disperse the fiber. ③After mixing, take samples immediately. If the fiber has been evenly dispersed into monofilaments, the concrete can be put into use. If there are still bundled fibers, extend the mixing time by 20~30 seconds and it can be used. ④The construction and maintenance process of concrete with fiber is exactly the same as that of ordinary concrete. Notes ● Polypropylene fiber is only used as a "secondary reinforcement" of concrete, not a structural force-bearing steel bar, so the addition of polypropylene fiber cannot change the reinforcement ratio in the original design. ● Polypropylene fiber cannot replace structural reinforcement materials, and cannot be used alone in situations where settlement and strong external force impact cracking are required. The size of the main structure cannot be reduced due to the use of polypropylene fiber. The construction and maintenance of polypropylene fiber must still be carried out in strict accordance with relevant national regulations and practices. ● Polypropylene fiber should be stored to prevent long-term direct sunlight exposure.
